COVID Safety
Over 90% of our members are fully vaccinated!
As of 1/1/2022, we are up to 95% vaccination rate among members. My intention is to always keep the studio above herd immunity. We all want to keep Yovana a safe space. So, when new people start we ask their vaccination status and I keep this on file. Monthly, I tally our current vaccination percent. If it gets close to 80% We will stop allowing new students in that are not vaccinated until our vaccination percentage rises.
Our HVAC Systems Sanitizes Surfaces & Cleans the Air
Our own Yovana Yogi, John Anderson installed two Remo Halos in our HVAC systems. These sanitize surfaces and clean the air. They clean 99% of cold, flu, and COVID germs from the air. To learn more about this upgrade you can find the info on John's website here.
Social Distancing
The State of Georgia has done away with all social distancing guidelines. However, we are still limiting class capacity to allow for students to be 10 feet apart again.
Pre-Registration is highly suggested
With a limit of 11 per class we highly suggest that everyone preregister for class to ensure their spot. This may not be needed in all classes, but we do not want you to get here and not have a spot. Go to the schedule tab here or at the top of the website , find the class you want to come to and click book to the right of the class. If you are already a member you can link your current account with your email address. If you are new to the studio you can setup an account and pay online.
Masks
Masks are required in the common areas of the studio.
The CDC has recently reduced the amount of time that people need to quarantine after exposure to COVID-19. I would ask that anyone exposed should wear a mask at all times in the studio. If you have tested positive, stay away from the studio at least 10 days. If you are not already in the Facebook group, you should join. There are over 300 classes on demand. Any student on a monthly autopay will be accepted into the Facebook Group called Yovana, Horizon, Etowah Valley, & HYK Yogis.
Props & Mats
Since we reached over 95% vaccination rate and the CDC says it is very unlikely that anyone will get the virus from surfaces we have put all of our props back into rotation.
If you have a mat, please bring it. You are even welcome to store it at the studio.
Practice online
All autopay members have access to our private Facebook group where we have over 300 classes on demand. So you can do yoga in the safety of your own home.
