We believe you are never too old, too weak, too inflexible or too large too start yoga. Yoga is for everybody and we will help you find the right classes for you. We believe that yoga is not how your pose looks, but how it feels in your body. Our goal will be for you to leave class feeling better than when you came in. 


At Yovana we teach accessible yoga that anyone can do to improve their strength, flexibility and mobility. We will give you several options to explore how your body feels in a pose. While connecting your mind and body for deeper relaxation. We see yoga as a key to healthy ageing. 


A Variety of Classes

Yovana Yoga Studio in Calhoun has many classes to choose from. 

  • Back Care yoga is good for anyone that has back or shoulder pain.
  • Yin is more meditative with longer holds to get into the connective tissue.
  • Yoga for Strong Bones is both active and adaptable. We usually use chairs to help us go deeper into standing poses. 
  • Chair Yoga is a wonderful gentle class focused on healthy aging. 
  • Try them all!

Calm Your Mind

Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Focusing on your breath during practice is key to staying in tune with your mind and body.
