Restorative yoga is by far the most relaxing type of yoga. You will be fully supported by props to that you can relax into the pose for yummy 10 minute holds.
The class is from 4 pm to 5:30 pm. Please book in advance.
It is important to start your yoga journey with the correct classes. Yoga 101, Gentle & Supported, Chair Supported & Seniors Yoga will help build your yoga foundation so you have the skills and confidence to take the more advanced classes.
Qigong (pronounced “chee-gung”) is an ancient Chinese practice for mind/body wellness. Qi is the Chinese word for “life energy” and Gong means “work” or “skill,” especially something gained through perseverance and practice. Tai Chi is a derivative of Qigong focused on martial arts. Qigong is focused directly on health, and its growing popularity here has led some to call it “the new yoga.”
The Yovana Qigong class will be taught sitting in chairs and standing up. It is accessible to all fitness levels.
